Steven and Angelia met after Angelia's match-making mother wrote her daughter's phone number on a gum wrapper and gave it to the bag boy at the grocery store. Steven called Angelia, and their love story began.
Honey, I'm Home
Three kids and years later, they made their home in the pines of South Mississippi and started Coy Bee Company. Steven, who grew up in beekeeping and earned a Master's Degree in Entomology, was focused on raising queens. Angelia right alongside him, the two built a successful bee company and have expanded into specialty honey. Ironwood Honey Company is their new adventure
Catching the Last Rays
Angelia and Steven spend long hours keeping their bees healthy and productive, often working beyond the final rays of sun before their day is over. But honey bees, beekeeping, and bringing Mother Nature's best to people like you has become their joint passion. They can't wait for you to fall in love with Ironwood Honey!
